Lake City is a small community in metropolitan Atlanta, directly north of Morrow. As a namesake town, the community is anchored by the Lake City Community Center which is nestled beside a small man-made lake and hosts events from weddings to family reunions each year. The area borders Clayton State University and the Reynolds Nature Preserve, where residents flock for hiking and wildlife observation. Lake City is predominately residential with very affordable rentals along with a few retail and dining hubs scattered throughout town.
